- P0300 Multiple cylinder misfire Misfire found coming from several cylinders, esp. cylinders 1, 3, and 7. Spark plugs on these cylinders were only finger tight. Oil is leaking past the piston rings on cylinders 1 and 7, this is a common problem on these DOD LS motors. Compression is good at 160psi, spark is consistent from all 8 coils, but is slightly weaker on coils 1 and 3 which also appear to be older than most of the other coils. Tightened all plugs to proper torque and test drove while watching misfire data and the misfire did not return. Misfire monitor passed during test drive and the check engine light went out on its own.
