Checked the Vehicle over and found no issues with the Transmission. Note this is a CVT Trans and there is no Adjustment that can be made. Work Performed, checked the Vehicle for Trans Fault Codes and found none. When working on Vehicle, found loose Engine Mount that may have been the noise client was hearing. Tightened Mount and re checked. No noise at this time. Completed, no other problems found at this time.

Tested vehicles A/C for stop leak, test passed ok. Connected gauges to A/C system. System pressure was high. LOW 116PSI, HIGH 190PSI. Recovered A/C system. System was low on refrigerant 0.15KG. Recharged with 0.50KG of refrigerant. System is producing 43F from center vents on max A/C. A/C system seems to be working as intended.

CHECKED ALL FLUIDS,TIRE PRESSURES AND OVERALL CONDITION OF CAR COMPONENTS BRAKES FRONT = 8mm REAR = 6mm Found that the coolant was low. Topped it off. Found that the Power steering fluid is dirty and recommend a power steering flush. Declined at this time. Found the front wheel bearings to be loose and making a lot of noise. Replace wheel bearing. Declined at this time. When test driving found that the transmission shifts hard in low gears. Racked vehicle up and got a fluid sample found it to be extremely dirty, and full of metal. Pulled codes and found that the transmission has a P17F0 transmission judder. Replace transmission. Declined at this time. Topped off Coolant.

Check cooling fan found fan fuse to be blown caused by shorted fan motor , check fan motor found it seized motor Removed core support to access cooling fan, removed and replaced with new fan . Ran vehicle to operating temp, and checked fan, and the fan functions properly at this time. complete.
Scanned for codes and found P0302 misfire detected,P0420 Catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1. and engine cooling fan inoperative and transmission wont up range and jerking Inspected spark plugs and found carbon tracking found seized cooling fan motor need to repair cooling fan and repair miss and recheck transmission and converter
work performed test drove vehicle and found the vehicle is not ranging up on test drive. scanned and found no codes in the vehicles pcm checked the transmission fluid and found the transmission fluid to be full of metal . remove transmission and installed new transmission with dealer required install kit when draining the transmission pan before transmission removal the pan was full of metal . flushed cooler with dealer supplied flush .sent the vehicle to the dealer and had transmission and vehicles ecm and tcm programmed to the latest software. after programming test drove vehicle to verify that the vehicles transmission works properly at this time.

Took on test drive and heard a squeaking noise from the brakes. Inspected brakes and found that brakes measure 8/32 in the front and 5/32 in the rear. Found that the brakes were not lubed and are showing signs of rust on the contact points. Cleaned and lubed front and rear brake pads. Took on test drive and listened for brake noise and could not hear squeaking. Complete

Scanned all control modules for relevant faults- found P2004, Swirl Flap fault stored in powertrain controller. Visually inspected intake manifold, control motor, and position sensor for obvious faults or loose connections- none found. Commanded swirl flap motor open and closed numerous times while monitoring position sensor to evaluate system performance- flaps opened and closed as expected every time. This application is known for intermittently sticking tumble flap mechanisms, and intake manifold has been re-designed to eliminate failures. Recommend replacement of intake manifold and associated parts at this time. Customer declined further repairs.
