- P0455 EVAP system large leak P0447 Canister closed vent control circuit open Checking power and ground at the canister closed vent solenoid found no power at the harness connector, but the ground signal from the PCM is present when the solenoid is commanded on. Power is present on the "sensor 2" fuse, which provides power to the vent solenoid. The solenoid opens and closes normally when power and ground are applied manually. Inspected the power wire to the CCV and found it broken a few inches away from the connector. Repaired the broken wire and the CCV solenoid is working properly now. Needs a drive cycle to ensure it will pass the EVAP readiness monitor. Customer previously installed a new CCV solenoid and the old part was sitting in the trunk so I tested it and found that it works. The newly installed part is dorman brand, so I put the old OE solenoid back in to avoid issues with the aftermarket part in the future. The dorman part is back in its box in the trunk. During a test drive, the check engine light came back on, codes P0441 EVAP incorrect purge flow U1112 LIN communication error Purge solenoid is not closing completely, allowing constant vacuum on the fuel tank. Replaced purge solenoid and test drove again, codes did not return
- CLIENT REQUESTS MINOR MAINTENANCE SERVICE TO INCLUDE OIL CHANGE, WITH UP TO 5 QUARTS OF OIL, NEW OIL FILTER, INSPECT CONDITION OF ALL OTHER FLUIDS AND TOP OFF AS NEEDED, INSPECT AIR FILTER, PERFORM MAINTENANCE INSPECTION AND CHECK AND ADJUST TIRE PRESSURES. ADVISE CLIENT OF ANY NEEDED REPAIRS OR SERVICE.
