- Scanned for codes and found P0302 misfire detected,P0420 Catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1. and engine cooling fan inoperative and transmission wont up range and jerking Inspected spark plugs and found carbon tracking found seized cooling fan motor need to repair cooling fan and repair miss and recheck transmission and converter
- work performed test drove vehicle and found the vehicle is not ranging up on test drive. scanned and found no codes in the vehicles pcm checked the transmission fluid and found the transmission fluid to be full of metal . remove transmission and installed new transmission with dealer required install kit when draining the transmission pan before transmission removal the pan was full of metal . flushed cooler with dealer supplied flush .sent the vehicle to the dealer and had transmission and vehicles ecm and tcm programmed to the latest software. after programming test drove vehicle to verify that the vehicles transmission works properly at this time.
